Card made from the Scrapbook and Cards Today March 2022 Sampler.
Anything with an * is product from the sampler, the rest, from my stash.
- Cardstock: Recollections
- Plastic: packaging from a stamp or die set
- Sequins: from my stash
- Pocket card (Happy birthday): Echo Park - Birthday Girl*
- Banner, blue bird, elephant: fussycut from Echo Park - Birthday Girl*
How I made this card (thanks to an idea from Jennifer McGuire)!
- Trim the 4x6 Happy Birthday pocket card down to 4 x 5.25 inches
- Trim open the top and bottom edges of the packaging
- Slip the pocket card inside the packaging
- Fold over the 3 sides of the packaging, and adhere, leaving one end open
- Add some sequins
- Fold over and adhere the remaining edge of packaging (but not too tight)
- Fussycut the banner, elephant and tiny blue bird and an extra elephant ear
- Glue these pieces on top of the packaging as shown and pop the extra ear onto the elephant for extra dimension.
- Adhere the completed panel on to an A2 (4.25 x 5.5) size card base
